Our partners at FIU and WeCount! created The WeCount! Stories Website,<\/a> a multi-media project featuring video, exhibits, drawings, narratives, history, StoryMaps, and interviews. \u00a0This is a\u00a0project by FIU<\/a> graduate students in English and Architecture in collaboration with The Humanities Action Lab<\/a> & WeCount!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their website states,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“<\/em>This project<\/a> aims to share the stories of migrant workers in Homestead by offering a site where Spanish and English speaking audiences have the opportunity to learn about and explore the migration stories of workers in South Miami-Dade County. Facilitated by Dr. Gray Read, MA in Architecture Director, and Dr. Martha Schoolman, MA in English Director, graduate students met with and interviewed a handful of migrant workers; these are their stories.” – <\/em>About Us<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
